    Neglected Sled Dogs Rescued

    Humane Society International and the SPCA Laurentides-Labelle partnered to rescue approximately 100 neglected sled dogs in the Upper Laurentians of Quebec. The owner was unable to care properly for his dogs and released them to the care of the SPCA LL.

    Arkansas Horse Rescue

    The Humane Society of the United States, along with the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, The Rescue Wranglers and the Humane Society of Missouri, removed 25 horses from O.K. Trading Post, a trail riding business, on Highway 14 in Mountain View Thursday.

    Nineteen horses have been removed from unsanitary conditions at a Baltimore, Md., stable thanks to the Baltimore Health Department, The Humane Society of the United States and Days End Farm Horse Rescue.

    Missouri Dog Transport

    The Humane Society of the United States is transporting 21 dogs rescued during July’s historic multi-state federal dogfighting raid to foster groups in Virginia and Massachusetts. The HSUS loaded up the lucky animals in Missouri after having worked with the Humane Society of Missouri on the initial rescue mission.
